Research Scientist, Philosophy Program

Resolution conducts research on aligning artificial superintelligence and is building a philosophy team to investigate philosophical questions relevant to AI alignment. The Research Scientist will lead or contribute to original research, connect philosophical analysis with empirical and technical work, collaborate across disciplines, and potentially shape research agendas or mentor researchers depending on seniority.

Research Engineer

The Research Engineer will drive research and core infrastructure by building agentic research systems, scaling machine learning experiments, maintaining distributed infrastructure, and collaborating with researchers across programs.

The Research Scientist will conduct deep technical research within a program, translate alignment problems into concrete empirical or theoretical questions, execute research, and communicate findings through papers, presentations, and team collaboration.
