Infrastructure Software Engineer

Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, delivering high performance and lower cost. The Infrastructure Software Engineer will lead the development of infrastructure tooling to support scalable development and observability for AI ASICs, ensuring efficient workflows and system optimization.

Head of Performance Visibility

Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, and they are seeking a Head of Performance Visibility to define performance metrics across next-generation AI accelerator systems. This role involves establishing abstractions, event correlation frameworks, and distributed reasoning systems to enhance performance intelligence across hardware and software layers.

Design Verification Engineer - Interface IP

Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence. The Design Verification Engineer will verify interface IP subsystems, ensure architecture requirements are met, and validate correctness and performance across the hardware-software stack.

PD Intern - Fall 2026

Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers. As a Physical Design intern for Etched this fall, you will be responsible for realizing our front-end designs in silicon and improving iteration speed to final signoff.

Silicon Validation Engineer, Software

Etched is hiring a Silicon Validation Firmware Engineer to develop firmware, test content, and automation for validating AI/ML accelerator ASICs throughout their lifecycle. The role spans pre-silicon emulation and FPGA prototyping through post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and production ramp, including hands-on hardware debugging.

Capital Projects - Electrical Infrastructure Engineer

Etched is hiring an Electrical Infrastructure Engineer to own electrical systems supporting hardware development, testing, and scale-up from chip to rack to data center. The role leads assigned projects from planning and preliminary design through construction, commissioning, and operational handoff, while establishing electrical standards and coordinating consultants, contractors, vendors, and operations.

Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, and they are seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join their Interface IP DV team. The role involves validating architecture requirements and ensuring the correctness and performance of IP subsystems and interfaces across the hardware-software stack.

Demand Planner

Etched is hiring a founding Demand Planner to own demand forecasting, supply planning, and finished goods inventory in support of its S&OP objectives. The role develops and executes demand-supply plans, monitors inventory and production performance, and partners with Manufacturing and Global Supply Management to manage build plans and supply risks.

Talent Intern

Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, and they are seeking a Talent Intern to support their recruiting efforts. The role involves managing interview logistics, enhancing candidate experience, and partnering with recruiting teams to streamline operations.

Technical Recruiter (Supercomputing/ML)

Etched is building an advanced AI inference system for transformers, aiming to outperform traditional GPUs in performance and cost. They are seeking a Technical Recruiter (Supercomputing/ML) to manage the recruiting process and build relationships with hiring managers to attract top technical talent.
